It's darn frustrating to play, but it's also fascinating. Shattered Throne Fun tactics game that reminds me a bit of advance warsĪlien Logic Well, I both love and hate this one. or sitting on a balcony and spying on people sim. The Flower Collectors Another walking sim. The Fidelio incident Really nice looking walking sim, with an enjoyable story. Guess I need to get out more :PĪrmored Brigade: Amazing real time tactics game, with plenty of depth and content. I've heard of almost all the games mentioned here. Just to name the few, I would have to copypaste at least 25% of my completion list as I love exploring games people don't talk about as much. SWAT 3 (the 4th game is the reason it has been forgotten and not discussed as much, which is so unfair, given how it's superior in everything but graphics) Shadows of the Damned (childish over-the-top dick humor + RE4 shooting mechanics + Akira Yamaoka as the soundtrack composer = what else has all that in one package?) Robert Ludlum's The Bourne Conspiracy (the only Bourne game there is, third-person shooting mixed with melee combat and a huge variety of takedowns that never get old) Ninja Blade (From Software's answer to Ninja Gaiden, I feel like it's just me and Cr1TiKaL alone who know of this game) NecroVisioN (an FPS taking place in WW1 / WW2 tossing nazis, vampires, zombies, dragons and witches at you, I can't repeat myself enough how undeservingly unknown this gem is) Kona (a walking sim involving detective work solving a mystery surrounding a small town in Canada) Inversion (another hardly known TPS with some gravity play, great shooting mechanics and some interesting plot twists) Hellforces (a Russian slavjank FPS with a great variety of level architecture, enemy types and guns, but it runs even worse than Cryostasis so I feel no urge to ever return to it) Hard Edge (think classic Resident Evil setting but with Final Fantasy-looking characters, it's as corny as you could possibly imagine and that's why I love it) Devotion (one of my favorite completions of 2019, a walking sim with a touching story as well as an unnerving horror atmosphere) Cryostasis: Sleep of Reason (a terribly optimized and a considerably obscure narrative-based FPS that I find myself coming back to once in a year) Countdown Vampires (one of my most recent completions, another PS1 title that grew on me the more I played it, not a RE killer but a good game in its own right) Bullet Witch (a janky TPS from Japan with a gun-wielding witch as the main protagonist, also known as pre-alpha Bayonetta, even I think it's terrible but that doesn't stop me from liking it)
Blade (it's not a 1:1 movie adaption, more of its own thing with other characters / enemy types, very few have heard of it, I must have finished it over 20 times) Binary Domain (rock-solid TPS with a terrific soundtrack, pretty much drowned in the huge pile of shooters with similar mechanics and remained the shadow of Gears of War, though this game is far better)
